This wonderful 8500 sq ft new post and beam style mountain home is located on the Sunday River Golf Course in Newry, Maine. A few of the highlights include: 9 large private Bedrooms with premium mattresses and 600+ threadcount linens, 8 custom spa-like Bathrooms (every one with multiple shower heads and body sprays), basketball court area, huge heated outdoor pool with overflowing hot tub, 2 other hot tubs, large monkey mansion treehouse playground in the middle of a giant sandbox, 2 large multi-person soaking tubs, a 2-person and a 5 person custom stone tile steam rooms – both with surround sound connected to the whole house theater system, a new cedar 4 person dry sauna with music system and all the infrared health benefits, and an awesome hot tub with 60 jets, lounger, waterfall and lcd lights located on the 3rd floor turret overlooking the Jordan slopes and Mahoosuc Mountain range. You can even watch the game in HD while lounging in the hot tub with a drink. New this year, we are adding a second 8 person hot tub under the deck overlooking the Mahoosuc Mountains and snow covered golf course hills.

You will really have a time getting everyone to leave the amazing 20 seat authentic movie theater. The sound and high definition picture will blow you away while you are reclining in the supple leather theater seats with a drink in your cup holder and the smell of fresh theater popcorn permeating the air. This state of the art house is so smart you don’t ever even touch a DVD. Hit the button and on the 119” screen you’ll see a few hundred movie options to choose from including the best of the latest releases (we also take requests). With the whole house entertainment system you can plug your iPod into one of the built in house docking stations and listen to it from anywhere. There are simply volume controls in the room, including the hot tub turret, the steam rooms and even the garage! Or listen to the XM radio through the house system. You will also find wireless high speed internet (every TV also acts as a computer to check email or surf the net). The system is has also been professionally configured for easy, seamless presentations via your laptop. In addition to the Playstation 3 in the downstairs gathering area, we have added a Wii to the movie theater where you can play one of the many supplied games on the huge theater screen, or you can rock out on the stage beneath the screen with the guitar hero whole band ensemble, karaoke and Dance Revolution electronic dance mat! You can get a workout with the boxing gloves, yoga mat, baseball bat, tennis racket, racing wheel, wii fit board, wii sports, and the other fun wii accessories provided as well.

Any chef would go nuts over the 2 truly gourmet Kitchens with a butcher block island, granite counter and a granite, stainless steel and glass backsplash as well as top of the line appliances such as the 60”, 6 burner, 2 oven & griddle Viking range, a separate pot filler faucet over the stove, 3 dishwashers, built in coffee center, and a wine fridge. You’ll also find a massive towering stone fireplace, central a/c, a great gas outdoor fire pit right on the deck overlooking the mountain range, a 3 car garage filled with recreational equipment, Playstation 3 with games, board and card games, books, and children’s toys, baby and toddler supplies.

Vacation Rental Amenities

On the entertainment loft you will find a mahogany foosball table, an 8’ professional slate pool table (suitable for professional pool tournaments), and a great classic bar with an icemaker, copper sink and beer fridge. Over the bar is a plasma TV to watch the game, or you can swing it out to be able to view the game while relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. Adjacent to that is the chess loft. You will enjoy your morning coffee on the screened porch looking at the ski slopes, and then having all 26 of you sitting down together in the dining room for the dinner that your personal chef has prepared for you. In the evening, sit out on the deck and roast marshmallows on the fire pit before retreating to the hot tub. With multiple gathering areas there will always be loads of room for everyone to spread out and find a private spot for reading, napping or just daydreaming, but still be able to gather together in one grand room – or perhaps at one of the 4 house bars! Although you can hop on the Sunday River Trolley right from the driveway, you will also appreciate the slopeside base lodge preferred parking passes, discount lift tickets, and unlimited long distance phone calls.
